July Third Thursday Webinar

Upstream Solutions for Maternal and Infant Mental Health:

What We Are Learning from Rx Kids

Thursday, October 15

at 12pm on Zoom

What to Expect

Join us for a powerful conversation about upstream factors that influence family mental health and well-being.

We are honored to feature a presentation by Crystal Cederna, PsyD,  a Pediatric Psychologist and Associate Professor in the Charles Stewart Mott Department of Public Health at Michigan State University.

Rates of anxiety, depression, and stress among caregivers continue to rise across the United States, with the greatest burden often experienced by families facing economic hardship. This presentation will explore poverty as a maternal and infant mental health issue and introduce Rx Kids, the nation's first community-wide prenatal and infant cash prescription program.

Attendees will learn about emerging research findings related to family well-being, maternal mental health, hope, and stress, and consider practical ways to advance upstream approaches to mental health within their own communities and systems.
